Community Service Projects

All those snippets of fabric and batting that litter floors and fill quilting room wastebaskets are being put to good use as stuffing for dog and cat pillows.  This year the guild made and presented 57 dog and cat beds to the Addison County Humane Society.  We are all still saving our scraps and intend to exceed that number next year.

The guild is also involved in the Linus Project, which provides quilts to give warmth and comfort to children who are seriously ill.

In 2010, we donated $800 to WomenSafe from our Christmas ornament sales.  We will be making new and different ornaments for our 2012 show!
