Welcome to Patchwork

Welcome to the new Patchwork page!  We’ve just begun to document our meetings.  Look for pictures and thoughts about future meetings.

Richard Cleveland explaining age of antique quilt

Noted authority on antique quilts, Richard Cleveland met with the guild in November.  As is his usual habit, he invited people to bring their antique quilts for his comments.  There were several quilts, including one that left him speechless.  That particular quilt he dated back to the 1830s.

This quilt, made between 1830 and 1850, left Richard Cleveland speechless.

Our show and tell included a look at the completed top for our 2012 raffle quilt.

Show and Tell included a finished project from the Pam Druen workshop the previous month.

Our December meeting was our annual Christmas Party held at the lovely Middlebury Community House.  The evening included show-and-tell, a brief report from the Eileen Mattson, quilt show committee chair, a potluck dinner, and a Yankee gift swap.
