Unless indicated otherwise in the listing below, our meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday of each month. Every Milk & Honey Quilters meeting begins with a short guild business update and includes a Show 'n' Tell, when we share the progress of our latest creations or seek project advice from each other. Both completed and unfinished projects are welcomed. Most meetings are held at the American Legion building located off Route 7 South (behind G Stone Motors) in Middlebury. Full day starting at 9:30 AM |
“No Tear Paper Piecing: Chevron Star” with David Sirota Location: CVUUS, 2 Duane Court, Middlebury Pre-registration is required. We are delighted to host this workshop where David will teach his unique no-tear paper piecing technique. This is a completely different technique from the Improv Paper Piecing workshop that Amy Friend is teaching in April, so sign up for both! It's also very different from the way that foundation paper piecing is typically done. David's top-rated classes at the big quilt shows are always in high demand, and we are so fortunate to be able to bring him to Middlebury. This class is great for all skill levels, beginner to advanced, even if you already know how to foundation paper-piece the traditional way. David's technique and tips are game-changing. The class project will be his Chevron Star, but the skills you'll learn in class will work with any foundation paper-pieced pattern. |
