Richard Cleveland explaining age of antique quilt
Noted authority on antique quilts, Richard Cleveland met with the guild last year. He was both entertaining and informative. As is his usual habit, he invited people to bring their antique quilts for his comments. We learned a lot from Richard that night. There were several quilts presented, including one that left him speechless. That particular quilt he dated back to the 1830s.
This quilt, made between 1830 and 1850, left Richard Cleveland speechless.
Our show and tell included a look at the completed top for our 2012 raffle quilt.
